number of pilot projects, Gloucestershire Food links has provided
business advice, training and seminars for farmers and other producers
to help them develop their food businesses.
Gloucestershire Food Links,
with the help of Gloucestershire County Council and the Lottery
SEED Fund, recently ran the "Gloucestershire Healthy Local
Food in Schools" project.
The project aimed to increase
enthusiasm for local food through the development of a whole school
approach to healthy eating.
Gloucestershire Food Links
worked with 6 secondary schools and many primary schools in the
county on a range of exiting project ideas.
