Over the years Made in Stroud Ltd. has worked with various partners to help educate children and the wider local community around food issues.
Our aim is to reconnect people with the way food is produced locally and
to inspire them to eat healthy fresh food. We support initiatives like
The Department of Health Five
a Day Programme.
The response we have experienced is very rewarding and can be quite dramatic - particularly
with school children, who when introduced to healthy eating in the right
way are very receptive. Some schools even report behaviour improvements
amongst the pupils once they are eating a more healthy diet with plenty
of fresh vegetables.
